Specs Surface For The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom
News , smart phones / March 26, 2014

New details have surfaced regarding the specs for the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom. Samsung hasn’t officially stated plans to release a Zoom version of the Galaxy S5, but it’s safe to assume the South Korean company is in fact working on it. The Galaxy S4 was released in several different model variations, including a Zoom, so it only makes sense for Samsung to follow this same pattern with the Galaxy S5. What We Know About The Galaxy S5 Zoom According to the Polish website Galaktyczny.pl, Samsung recently held an invite-only presentation showcasing the Galaxy S5 Zoom. In an effort to prevent details of the new device from being leaked, Samsung prohibited its employees from taking photos. However, one savvy attendee at the presentation took some rather interesting notes which provide some insight on the upcoming Galaxy S5 Zoom. According to the Polish website, the new Samsung Galaxy S5 will feature a slimmer body with a non-protruding camera lens. This is in stark contrast to its predecessor, as the Galaxy S4 Zoom was large, bulky and featured a prominent camera lens. Some users preferred the Galaxy S4 Zoom over the standard S4 due to its larger body, but most people claimed it…

Samsung Working On Galaxy S5 Mini
News , smart phones / March 24, 2014

If the Galaxy S5’s 5.11-inch screen is too large for your liking, you’ll be glad to hear that Samsung is currently working on a Galaxy S5 Mini — at least that’s the rumor currently circulating throughout the web. This is much better than the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini GT-I9192 GSM Factory Unlocked Dual Sim – White Samsung is known for creating multiple variations of Galaxy smartphones and devices. Take the Galaxy S4, for instance. The South Korean-based consumer electronics company released a Galaxy S4 Zoom, Galaxy S4 Active (water-resistant model), and a smaller and more affordable Galaxy S4 Mini. Since the Galaxy S5 is already made with water-resistant materials and technology, it’s highly unlikely Samsung will release a Zoom version. However, there’s strong evidence suggesting a Mini version of the Galaxy S5 is on the horizon. A user agent profile (UAP) for an unknown Samsung Galaxy S5 model was spotted on the company’s servers. The device in question was SM-G750A, which indicates an Mini version of the Galaxy S5 being available on AT&T (the A is believed to represent AT&T). If Samsung takes the same approach to the Galaxy S5 as they did the S4, though, it will likely be released…

Samsung Galaxy S5 Optimized For Longer Battery Life
News / March 18, 2014

Along with its superior hardware, the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S5 will also feature improved battery performance, allowing users to run their device for a longer length of time on single charge. This is just one of the many notable features that’s driving up pre-registration numbers for the Galaxy S5. Why Battery Life is a Common Issue Among Smartphones Battery life remains a growing problem among modern-day smartphones. As the hardware and software develops, there’s more juice being pulled from the battery. This results in shorter battery life, especially when the user is running processor-intensive applications like watching YouTube videos, playing games, using GPS services (serious battery-killer), etc. There’s nothing more frustrating that being forced to use your smartphone while it’s plugged into a nearby outlet, but unfortunately this is becoming an all-too-familiar scenario among smartphone owners today. Rather than carrying your smartphone in your pocket, its short battery life restricts you to using it around an electrical outlet. Samsung’s Solution To Poor Battery Life Samsung has taken the Galaxy S5 to the next level by optimizing its battery life. As most Galaxy fanatics may already know, the new Galaxy S5 features a 2800 mAh battery. This alone isn’t a ground-breaking…
