Samsung Galaxy S5 Launch Dates Revealed For U.S. Cell Carriers

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to go live in the U.S. on April 11th.

It’s been just over a month since Samsung unveiled its highly anticipated flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5. While this sneak peak gave us some temporary satisfaction, cell carriers have yet to officially support or sell the device. The good news is that we now have official dates for the Galaxy S5’s release on several of the country’s top cell carriers.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile will begin taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S5 starting on March 24th with the actual device going live for sale on April 11th . Customers can pre-order the device with $0 down and 24 equal payments of $27.50. This is an introductory price, so you’ll want to pre-order it fast; otherwise, you may risk losing this hot deal.

Sprint

The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available for sale on both the Sprint website and in Sprint stores starting April 11th. Sprint is currently taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S5 at $199.99 with a 2-year agreement after a $50 mail-in rebate. The company is really offering a great deal for the Galaxy S5, which will likely attract some budget-conscious shoppers. However, we really can’t say Sprint has the “best” deal for the Galaxy S5 until we see prices across all of the major U.S. cell carriers.

Sprint has also announced plans to release the Samsung Gear Fit, Galaxy Gear Neo 2 and Samsung Gear 2 on the same day as the Galaxy S5’s launch. If you’re looking to get your hands on some of the other tech Samsung tech gear, you should check out Sprint on April 11th.

At&T

AT&T is now taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5.. Like the previous two cell carriers mentioned above, AT&T will sell the Galaxy S5 starting on April 11th.

So, how much can you expect to pay for it? According to AT&T’s website, the Galaxy S5 will cost consumers $200 with a 2-year agreement. If you wish to purchase an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S5 without a contract, expect to pay $650 through AT&T.

AT&T also offers several different payment plans for the Galaxy S5, including $25/month for 18 months and $32.50/month for 12 months.
